สำนักงานคณะกรรมการการรักษาความมั่นคงปลอดภัยไซเบอร์แห่งชาติ (สกมช.) ประเทศไทย ร่วมกับ CREST International โครงการฝึกอบรมพัฒนาขีดความสามารถ เพื่อเสริมสร้างศักยภาพบุคลากรด้านความมั่นคงปลอดภัยไซเบอร์ของประเทศ โครงการนี้ได้รับทุนสนับสนุนจากกระทรวงการต่างประเทศและการค้าออสเตรเลีย (DFAT) ภายใต้โครงการ Southeast Asia and Pacific Cyber Programme (SEA-PAC Cyber) โดยดำเนินการภายใต้กรอบของโครงการ CREST Cyber Accelerated Maturity Programme (CREST CAMP) โดยมี Protection Group International (PGI) พันธมิตรด้านการฝึกอบรมของ CREST เป็นผู้ให้การฝึกอบรมเชิงเทคนิค
โครงการดังกล่าวมุ่งเสริมสร้างศักยภาพผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านความมั่นคงปลอดภัยไซเบอร์ของไทย โดยถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ด้านการทดสอบการเจาะระบบ และการตอบสนองต่อเหตุการณ์ ด้วยหลักสูตรอย่างเป็นทางการของ CREST ที่สอดคล้องกับการสอบประกาศนียบัตร CPSA (Practitioner Security Analyst) และ CPIA (Practitioner Intrusion Analyst) รวมถึงการอบรมเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านไซเบอร์ของประเทศไทยที่ต้องการสอบประกาศนียบัตรดังกล่าว
เบรนแดน ดาวลิง เอกอัครราชทูตด้านกิจการไซเบอร์และเทคโนโลยีสำคัญ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศและการค้าออสเตรเลีย กล่าวว่า “ออสเตรเลียมีความมุ่งมั่นในการสนับสนุนพันธมิตรในภูมิภาคให้มีความพร้อมด้านไซเบอร์ที่แข็งแกร่ง การลงทุนในโครงการฝึกอบรมที่ได้รับการรับรองในระดับสากล เช่น CREST CAMP จะช่วยยกระดับบุคลากรด้านไซเบอร์ในประเทศไทยให้สามารถรับมือกับความท้าทายที่เพิ่มขึ้น และเสริมสร้างความมั่นคงร่วมกันในภูมิภาคเอเชีย-แปซิฟิก” พลอากาศตรี อมร ชมเชย เลขาธิการ สกมช. กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า “เราขอขอบคุณกระทรวงการต่างประเทศและการค้าออสเตรเลียที่ให้การสนับสนุนประเทศไทยอย่างเต็มที่ โครงการนี้ถือเป็นการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระยะยาวระหว่างไทย ออสเตรเลีย และ CREST และเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการพัฒนาและเสริมสร้างบุคลากรที่มีคุณภาพและศักยภาพ เพื่อรับมือกับภัยคุกคามไซเบอร์ที่เปลี่ยนแปลงตลอดเวลา
Thailand’s National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) is partnering with CREST International to launch a new training capability development initiative to strengthen the national cyber security workforce.
Funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) under its Southeast Asia and Pacific Cyber Programme (SEA-PAC Cyber), this initiative is delivered under the CREST Cyber Accelerated Maturity Programme (CREST CAMP), with technical training provided by Protection Group International (PGI), a CREST Training Partner.
The initiative will enable Thai cyber security trainers to develop Thailand’s penetration testing and incident response workforce through trainer training and the handover of official CREST course material aligned to CREST’s CPSA (Practitioner Security Analyst) and CPIA (Practitioner Intrusion Analyst) exams. This will be combined with training for Thai cyber security professionals focused on exam preparation.
Brendan Dowling, Ambassador for Cyber Affairs and Critical Technology at DFAT, added:

By investing in internationally recognised training programmes such as CREST CAMP, we’re helping to develop a skilled cyber security workforce in Thailand, one that can meet growing challenges and enhance collective security across the Asia-Pacific.”

This initiative strengthens our long-standing collaboration with both Australia and CREST,” said AVM Amorn Chomchoey, Secretary General of the NCSA of Thailand. “It is a vital step towards building a qualified, capable cyber security workforce to respond to the evolving cyber threat landscape.”

By aligning capability development with CREST’s internationally recognised standards, we are not only building individual skills but also strengthening institutional capacity in Thailand. We’re proud to work alongside DFAT, NCSA and PGI to help deliver long-term cyber security resilience across the region.”
The CREST CAMP training took place from 16 to 27 June 2025 at the NCSA Headquarters in Bangkok. Fourteen cyber security professionals from across Thailand participated in the programme, receiving training aligned to both CPSA and CPIA, with two selected to progress as Master Trainers of each CREST-aligned course, helping to cascade the knowledge and build sustainable national training capability.
This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of Australia, Thailand, and CREST to investing in practical, high-impact initiatives that strengthen cyber defence across the Asia-Pacific.
